Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmut Özer met the international academic staff from various departments of our University at lunch on March 31st Thursday.
Rector Özer chatted with international academic staff at lunch and exchanged information on the academic and professional experiences of international staff at BEÜ, life in Zonguldak, the problems they face and their requests. After the lunch, Rector Özer declared: “Today we are with our international academic staff for an enjoyable chat and lunch. Our international staff and students are important for us within our internationalisation processes. Thus, we regularly meet our international academic staff and evaluate our internationalisation processes together. Your presence at BEU poses great opportunity for cultural exchange. We benefit from these differences and we can develop various approaches in handling problems. What we request from you is to form bridges from here to your home countries. Your existence enhances our power and value. As you all know, our university has become a center of attraction for international students and academic staff. 522 students from 62 countries and 26 academic staff from 13 countries are currently included in the BEU family. I believe these numbers will grow with great pace.
